The Manitoba Islamic Association (MIA) is interested in developing a new community centre to support its growing community and the broader south Winnipeg community. 2445 Waverley is home to the Grand Mosque and the development of the Community Centre will play a key role in the long-term goal of becoming a complete community campus offering housing, offices and meeting spaces for social gatherings and religious services, and recreational spaces for the Muslim community and the greater south Winnipeg.

M Richard & Associates Ltd. has played a pivotal role in MIA’s site planning by providing assistance in grant applications, master planning, business planning, development strategy and negotiations with the City. The project is currently ongoing.
