We are thrilled to announce that Kate Moir, Director of Planning at M Richard & Associates (MRA), has earned her CP3 designation from the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2). This esteemed credential recognizes her advanced expertise in public engagement, solidifying her role as a leader in fostering inclusive, sustainable communities.


With nearly two decades of experience in community planning across Manitoba, Ontario, and British Columbia, Kate is a passionate advocate for creating complete communities where people can live, work, and play. Her approach integrates social, environmental, and economic factors, ensuring that development projects are both equitable and impactful.


She has completed multiple IAP2 courses, including advanced conflict resolution and Indigenous awareness training, further enhancing her ability to navigate diverse community dynamics.


 Kate’s new CP3 designation underscores her dedication to meaningful public participation and mentorship within the field. Her leadership continues to drive MRA’s planning and design initiatives, contributing to projects ranging from zoning studies to large-scale community plans.
