MRA was the lead consultant on Emerson-Franklin Steaming Ahead, the Municipality’s new Development Plan. The plan builds on the core principles of healthy neighbourhoods, diverse economic growth, rural preservation, and protection of land and water. It identified strategic economic growth areas such as Mid Canada Gateway at the Emerson-Pembina Port of Entry. MRA also assisted with updating the Municipality’s Zoning By-law that includes provisions for infill housing and rural residential development.
