MRA has provided overall economic development support to the Village over the last five years. Key projects and initiatives include a municipal strategic economic development plan, a new Official Development Plan and Zoning By-law, development of ‘Invest St-Pierre’, creation of the Southeast Recreation and Wellness Campus vision, a reinvigorated CDC, and overall land use development advisory services to accommodate smart urban growth in the community. This comprehensive suite of services has positioned the Village with the necessary tools to attract and facilitate private investment into the community, creating opportunity for spin-off economic benefits and a sustainable tax base for the Village.
