In collaboration with McGowan Russell Group, MRA has played a key role in supporting True North Real Estate Development on the transformative True North Campus project at Portage Place Shopping Centre in Downtown Winnipeg. This $500 million redevelopment project includes a state-of-the-art health-care centre, affordable and family-oriented housing, a full-scale grocery store, essential neighbourhood services, and thoughtfully designed urban green spaces.

Based on international standards for public participation, our engagement process has prioritized inclusivity, trust, and meaningful dialogue, incorporating cutting-edge public engagement strategies tailored to diverse communities and stakeholder groups. Through a combination of working group sessions, targeted stakeholder meetings, public pop-up events at Portage Place, in-depth workshops, and an extensive online survey, we have gathered critical insights to inform the project’s direction.
